It helps to make the bones strong during the growth phase of an individual and helps in preventing the bones from osteoporosis which is a condition usually seen in postmenopausal women.
Drumstick has another very important nutrient and that is vitamin A. Vitamin A plays a major role in many important functions in the body. It helps in increasing the immunity and helps fight infections better. It also helps in improving the vision and maintaining the skin integrity.
It is very rare for any vegetables to be a good source of protein, but drumstick has this characteristic as well. It is a good source of protein. Nowadays people usually prefer to follow a high protein diet which usually has animal protein, this ingredient can be a source of plant protein in these diets.
Vitamin C is another nutrient which helps in strengthening the immunity of the human body. Drumsticks have a good amount of vitamin C in it. It can be a source to fight against the free radicals which are usually the cause of many infections.
